When I took a contract position in the military industrial complex, someplace I figured I would not care, I became obsessed with how to make people happy at work and began researching the idea of "employee engagement."
A native Los Angeleno, I have Bachelors of Arts from Tulane University in New Orleans and a Masters of Public Policy from the Luskin School of Public Affairs at UCLA. I live in Silver Lake with my husband and two children, who attend the same elementary school I did.
